I didn’t believe it at first when a friend told us that a strange noise was heard here at Costa Rica the night of January 9, 2012. Note that it was heard all over the country, not just at one place. I wished I heard it too, but tired from all day baby care, the only thing that wakes me up at midnight these days is my son’s cry. But YouTube has the news, and apparently it has been happening all over the world these last 12 months (and I think there are also reports from late of 2010). Strange and scary it is.
The one here sounded to me like a giant man walking, and it is exactly the same as that of what was heard in Colorado. Some call it “the Rumble” or “the Hum”. I have no idea what it is. In other places it sounded like that of a trumpet, some said like a huge drilling machine. Even some describes it like straight out of the movie War of the Worlds. There were also reports that they felt the ground was shaking at the exact time they heard it. Furthermore, it doesn’t seem to be related to weather condition, because in some place the sky was clear. Here, neither the vulcanologist nor the weather forecasters recorded anything at the time of the strange sound. And the sky was pretty clear here the night it happened. I remember seeing the full moon before we went to bed.
There are several theories out there from UFO related to the Mother Earth crying out, and others saying that it could be the coming Apocalypse. Nobody can be certain what it is, but my best bet is something serious is going on inside the earth, maybe some sort of a strong tectonic movements.
Anyway, here I am posting some of the videos I have been watching at YouTube, related to this strange event. Maybe you can find more of these, but sure gives me goosebumps. Perhaps, we can expect more of this unknown phenomenon happening again. It sure looks like it is still going on. I hope some international group will start a research to find some sort of a logical explanation. As for me and my family, the best thing to do really is pray. I’m just a bit alarmed that a strong earthquake is forthcoming, which I pray won’t happen. But to be prepare, after this post, I am checking some earthquake survival guide.
