I am so happy I was given a chance to have my first practice photo shoot with a newborn baby. Meet baby Lucia Isabel. She was just 5 days old when we did the photo session. She is absolutely lovely, isn’t she?
my first Ritz Pix photo book
by fyPhew!

Finally after a day of editing pictures, I now was able to finish my first photo book (scrapbook style) for my first client, woohoo!
I enjoyed this whole procedure so much, I can’t wait for my next client to ask me to make a photo album for them. Of course, this one in particular I needn’t make it into a specialty album. I just thought that I’d try it and need one copy for myself, for my very own portfolio. This have hard cover with printable pages, on a special glossy paper, 26 pages and I did it directly from Ritz Pix website. They have great prices and selection. Unfortunately, they don’t ship internationally so I had no choice but to get a Miami address thru Aerocasillas, which I was planning to do anyway. Postal service here is terrible. The only way you can be sure that goods are delivered promptly (with a reliable tracking option) is through special courier service like Jetbox, Aerocasillas, Mailbox etc. At least that’s what I’ve heard from people and I’d rather not take chances. Fedex or DHL shipping are great, but they are both expensive.
I’ve seen a few other photo book printing online but I’ll go ahead and try Ritz Pix first and see how they delivers. I can’t wait to show this to Sara in September, soon as they get back from Spain. I hope I captured enough of her 5th Birthday celebration and will remember every moment through her very own birthday scrapbook.
Maybe someday soon, I’ll learn how to paper scrapbook myself but I kinda don’t have much time for it these days, and this one in particular I’d rather finish now before I get more loads of other things that will come in the next few weeks.
